Okay, I'm perplexed. How can one slot, and not a great on at that sell for almost half of what four slots three of which are better sell for? Same seller, better shipping rate and yet the lesser of the slots runs away as the big winner?

I think there is a glut of machines on the market. So they are being offered low hoping that they run up with the all the last min snipers.

Look at the bid history on these auctions. With the Charlie's Angels you have 2 bidders trying to outsnipe each other by placing several bids in the closing minutes of the auction. Only 2 bids near the closing of the other auction. That's the beauty (and curse!) of Ebay. I once listed a Flintstones pinball twice with a reserve of $1200.00 that was not met. The third time I listed it I had 2 bidders run the price over $1800.00! Luckily I had another Flintstones pin being shopped out that I sold to the losing bidder for his high bid. As a seller, you hope all your auctions are found by 2 or more very enthusiastic (uninformed?!) bidders. As a smart buyer, you let these items go because another will come along and sell for less.
