Yamasa King Pulsar Quater Issue - Won't bet until 3 tokens are inserted.

Hey all. I just got this pachislo machine and it works beautifully except for the stated issue. I can't spin until at least 3 quarters have been inserted. I've searched everywhere online for a solution but have come up short. All the manuals say 1-3 coins depending on which line/s you want to play. I've done a reset, no codes show up and, from what I can tell, everything works like it's supposed to. Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks! Oh! Also, is there a way to manually empty out the hopper without taking it out and turning it upside down? Looked for that one too and, again, can't find any info on it.

im not familiar with your exact machine but most all machines require 3 TOKENS to spin.. some older machine play one one or more TOKENS..

Interesting. You'd think that since it has 1,2 and 3 lines numbered that those would correspond with the tokens deposited. Thanks for the info!

The Bet lines do correspond with the number of tokens deposited. The thing is, King Pulsar is a "MAX BET ONLY" machine. You can deposit 1 token and the 1 token bet line will light up, but won't let you spin.

The manufacturers used the same cabinet for several different games. Other games in the same cabinet may be 1, 2 or 3 bet games/machines. I guess it is cheaper to put the games in the same cabinet vs. building a new cabinet for different bet games.
