Bruce Lee - Way of The Dragon Model B
Here is another interesting machine that we just finished up. I can't remember where exactly I picked this machine up, but it had one of the coolest centers. A big DRAGON and guys doing karate and a big fist. You can tell the center was very Bruce Lee inspired, which is where the theme of this machine came from. I made a custom background with a big dragon and a silhouette of Bruce Lee getting ready to fight it.I tried to keep it looking like it could have been a factory design; certainly anything was better than the Duck background it had.
Then we started thinking and wanted to go with a dark stain on the front to make the background pop. But there was a problem; the front was formica.
So I found a nice JAL machine I had which had a wood front and swapped it with it. (That machine is a project for another day. Got some plans for it too.) So then we stained the front a dark Rosewood stain. Also when I bought the JAL machine it had a cool Japanese Coke cap nailed to the back of it. We figured it must have been someone's lucky cap so we just left it.
In all this machine came out looking great. Also it is currently for sale on my site.

Can you get a photo of the playfield in closeup ? I , and I think the pachitalk folks here would Love to see your handy work.
