Default Intro and my Daiichi Machine that needs some help!

    Hi,
I wanted to introduce myself, I stumbled upon this place while looking for photos of the inside of a vintage Daiichi machine. I am from Everett WA and have had two machines so far. One of them was a Nishijin that was fully working when I purchased it and was given to my father. The other is a Daiichi that was partially disassembled. I am in the process of putting back together but need some help.

First issue is that I am trying to figure out where these two extra parts go???

Second is how this linkage hooks up inside the housing. The top end of it just has a 90 degree bend in it.
    IMG_3915.jpg
Last I is it looks like some linkage is missing down here

Here are some additional photos just in case

    Thanks!

    Hello, and welcome.
I have not had mine apart yet, so I am not sure on the first part in pic 1, I'm sure someone will be along that knows where that plate belongs.
The piece in pic 2 belongs near the shooter, it's the rod that will stop you from shooting if you win to much and the balls back up inside...IMG_20151111_145825.jpg

Here is a pic of where it goes.

Do give us a pic of the front, we like to see that too.

Your second question, the rod does not connect inside, it is pushed down by the ramp with the prize balls, in turn lifting the blocking plate to release the winning ball. Also seen in my pic.

Thanks for the reply that is super helpful! I am just about to mount my machine on the wall, figured it will go up eventually and will be easier to work on that way. I will get some front pics when it's up.

Another question comparing my photo to yours I have a piece that your machine doesn't seem to have. I just want to make sure it is positioned correctly.What.jpg

Not sure on that one, looks like a stop of some sort. Is it hinged? No opening on mine for it and I only have the one Daiichi.

I played with the mech and it appears to just have to do with the Jackpot. Also here are the other photos I promised, my machine is golf themed.

Extra piece one goes at blue line. There is a hole in the plastic. A long nail goes through the plastic, through extra piece 1 and into the wood. You are missing a lot of covers on your machine (at least in the pictures).

Extra piece two is a wire. It is part of an overflow lever that your machine is missing. Red line on picture above.

Your linkage for the jackpot ball release is not hooked up. It is needed to work reliably. It looks like all the parts are there. Green lines on picture. The top is just a 90 degree bend, one of the jackpot levers would push down on that during a jackpot cycle. The bottom gets hooked up to the brass pivoting lever. Your should be straightened.

The wires are correct in the picture on the right - above.

I think your extra plastic piece looks ok. When the jackpot ball comes down, it should push this piece over and the big lever is unlocked and free to move.
