Default 1972 Nishijin Fireworks playfield... Elaborate Hoax?

Ask any expert in the vintage pachinko field, and they will tell you that in 1972 Nishijin had a total of 7 playfields for their recyclers.

47A-A (Lilies), 47A-B (Flowerfall), 47A-C (Sprouts), 47A-D (Sunrise), 47A-E (barbed Wire), 47A-F (Rainbows), and the inexplicable but well documented 47A-Y (Green Machine).

However, researchers at Pachinko Planet claim to have rediscovered another previously undocumented playfield, 47A-G (Fireworks). The firestorm of controversy surrounding these claims have shaken the very foundations of the pachinko community, pitting brother against brother in heated and sometime hostile arguments. Many established experts claim it is nothing but an elaborate hoax, perpetrated purely as a publicity stunt. Other, newer members appear to be ready to accept the apocryphal playfield as a missing link that may lead to many more discoverys to come. One enthusiast who preferred not to be named, told us " If the 47A-G is real, then why not a 47A-H? or 47A-M? There are plenty of letters between G and Y, there may be any number we have yet to discover!"

While few are willing go that far, it seems certain the controversy of the alleged 47A-G playfield is not likely to be resolved in the near future.
