Default Super glued part - but why??

I've been cleaning my pachinko machine and when I went to clean the jackpot mechanism I found a super glued part but I have no idea why it was superglued. The piece looks fine and I believe its supposed to have movement. I've included a picture of the part (it holds part of the jackpot lever thing - sorry for my lack of correct terms) and then a pic of the back of my machine (before I took this area apart). Anyone have any ideas? I'm wondering if I should remove the super glue or just leave it as is.IMG_2632.JPGphoto.jpg

    Hello, and welcome.
That piece must remain rigid, it tilts from the connection lever to the right. There looks like a blue piece with spring attached that may be preventing proper movement of the linkage from the seesaw.
Can you post a complete pic of the back?

Here is a picture of the back before I took a majority of it apart

It's interesting you mention the seesaw because I was having issues with it not seesawing correctly. Here is a good shot of the seesaw area.

What was happening is that during play the seesaw would not get "reset" after a winning ball and I would end up with a ton of balls in this area such that the lever would be on the bottom with anywhere from 5-12 balls on top of it preventing any movement (For some reason I did not get a picture of that situation just what it looked like after I got all the balls out of there)

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

looks like your "Seesaw" pivot is gummed up and needs to be disassembled with a whole lot of photos during the whole take apart then you have to Polish the pivot pin with something like this

then of course put it all back together after you clean the gunk off the other parts and nice lighted work area with and nice bench so when you have to leave the "Project " it can remain undisturbed would be really cool

Everything appears to be there, follow the linkage from the seesaw through to the jackpot. Clean and polish all pivot points. Things tend to bind up if not moving freely. The weight of the long bar connecting the jackpot lever and the cross lever the winning ball rides down on will reset the seesaw and refill the jackpot if everything moves freely. The winning ball into a pay pocket travels through the seesaw and must fall out of that area in pic 3 under it own weight.
Also check to see that the little plastic insert at the bottom is not sticky preventing the ball from falling out.
Got a pic of the front? Looks like a Kyoraku from the back.
Here's what that area looks like on mine.IMG_20151028_222523.jpg

Thanks for all the help everyone! Tink, you're right it is a Kyoraku. I'm absolutely having a blast working on it. Below is a picture of the front. It has some water damage to the playing field but I like it. A neighbor saw it and said he bought a restored pachinko machine long ago and once I finish working on mine he'll give me his. Very interested to see what he has - he has no idea and isn't even sure if he ever opened the box it came in.
