I think it's an early modern ? And Saturday it's coming home!

Hello all! I purchased this today and it will be coming Saturday to me! I'm guessing this is an early modern ? Any info would be great! Thanks in advance ! Isn't she just gorgeous

I'm not good at dating the moderns, but looks like a mid-80s Machine. Looks to be in good shape aside from the massive ball jam in the back of the machine. You probably will want to clear that out and test that it is paying out before you buy the machine.

I have 2 games in that frame..one from '93 and one from 2000.. So I would say 90s.. But thats just my guess!!

Thank you all! The machine shoots balls still but I was unable to get it do to location, so I couldn't test it, so my friend picked it up and is delivering Saturday. It is quite the ball jam ! Lol. Yay more balls for me lol. I spent 75 on machine and delivery so I think it's a good deal but am expecting to have to spend some time with it this weekend.... As for it being a mid 80s.... Wow big change from 70s to 80s :-) lol first modern machine

My '93 one is pretty much exactly the same on the back as the one above, but my newer one has a totally redesigned modern back..

The machine is here! Cleared the ball jam and most all is good! The shooters "sticking". Any good way to resolve this minor issue? It feels the trigger sticks so the relay engages over and over and shoots multiple balls. I must say the early modern is cool, but being a mechanic I think I prefer the vintage :-)

I would suggest opening the outer portion of the machine (glass and portion above the lower tray and try firing off the shooter (without balls) and see how it is acting. It might be the case of something sticking. It might just need some cleaning. Or something might be broken. Also (I was just rereading your post), the balls will shoot constantly if you have turned the knob and your fingers are on the metal band (if it has one). Good luck and keep us informed.

Ok it appears the shooter needed adjusted... I moved the black knob clockwise and I'm shooting and playing well! Now.... How do I get the glass open to adjust and test the play field? I'm not seeing the release like on my vintages?
