Fun thread. Educational too. I always did wonder how they distributed the balls. And I've been considering how to handle supplying multiple machines with a single lifter (right now I have a lifter per machine). Now that I know what those odd ball switcher type things are for I may have to pick some up next time I see them.

However, doing a single wall cabinet style build like this guy did will be expensive. I like my individual cabinets and would hate to have to get rid of those in lieu for a wall.

I'm toying with the idea of doing this, the more and more I look at it the more I feel its the right way to go for me I want that Parlour feel at home.

I'm toying with the idea of putting in a central ball management system. Theoretically cheaper than individual ball lifters, but it takes up a lot of space. Right now I have space underneath and above the pachinko machines and have the flexibility of moving things around easily. If I turn things into a wall I lose a lot of that space (although I can still put shelves underneath the machines I suppose).

I like the idea of the parlor feel at home, but I don't think it's what I want. Space used by a coin or bill unit is space I can use for another machine. And by having the machines movable I can put them closer together as well. I'm more likely to end up building an island for 4 machines with a central ball lifter at some point. Not sure if that will be a rectangular island with 2 machines at the front and two at the back, or a square with one machine on each side.

Nope. I already have some CR sandwich units. Just need to modify them for Daverobs stuff.
