While I was in Japan I was addicted to this more then pachinko! It has slot wheels on it like pachislo but medals(tokens) triggered the spins when they fell in to special areas. Crazy jackpots! No money pay out because it was an arcade but I spent HOURS playing. You can bank medals for later visits too.

Hah, that is neat! How small was the area where the tokens had to land to trigger the reels?

It was amazing and addictive! On the top shelf there is 3 holes coins can go in when they are pushed over. Every coin that falls in the holes is a spin on the digital slots, others just go on the main area to fall off eventually. Then like normal dozer games the coins that fall off the main area are yours to play. When you when on the slots it can spit out 5-1000+ coins that build up and push more coins over.

The really cool thing is that some slot wins shoot out the pink rubber balls. When they fall the goal is to push them over too but they stay in the machine. If you build up 10 pink balls pushed over then you have a chance at the big jackpot. This pic is one of like 8 sides to the full machine. The big cage in the center spins a ball around while random numbers spin around the cage. When the ball drops in the hole at the bottom of the cage you get the amount highlighted. There is another mini jackpot thing going on in the coral too but hard to see in the pic. Amazing fun!

This theme was seas story and tends to be the most popular. You can see some pachinko machines of the same theme. I have seen other themes of video games like monster hunter. The change up on monster hunter is you flip the coins vs the rail fed on this one.
