okay, I borrowed the only wire (4 way) that hooks to motor from superman, and it didn't change anything, so problem is not fuse, dongle, or wire so far

so the motor just drives the cam round and round and round at a set speed? when it works.

the back of the shooter knob is connected to the white bar, that when turns it pushes the white bar and it makes the return spring tighter.

    things to try,
Direct ground the shooter handle to the machine frame.
Swap shooter motors with the one from Superman.
Open up the shooter handle and confirm or bell out the stop button is working correctly.

#1 connect a length of wire from any metal part of the machine frame and connect the other end to the metal ring on the shooter handle.

#3 take the shooter apart and using a continuity tester confirm correct operation of the stop switch on the shooter.

Bringing one back from the dead. Did you ever get the reset procedure figured out?

Also I sometimes have to put mine at full throttle then dial it back but after that it works fine.

My main concern is the reset procedure and what the yellow and two red buttons do. Mine is currently not paying out. I started with error code 5, then hitting the square red button got it to pay out a bunch of balls and now it has an error code 1 but still no payout during play.

due to being a left side only machine, i used a wire connector with a piece of black plastic hiding it, and clogged right side, so if I have to shoot full blast, ball still end up in play, can't help on error codes

It is a grounding issue in the knob, just fixed mine!

I uploaded an album to my profile with pictures.

There is a screw under the knob that you need to remove and the whole knob will pull out after you unplug the wires.
You will then remove three long screws from the back of the knob and the cap on the front will pull off, you can now remove the single screw in the front and the knob will come off of the body.

There is a spring, a micro switch and a little board in there that grounds to the chrome knob by way of the spring. My spring was not sprung and was randomly losing contact/ground.

First check to make sure the spring is intact and touching the tab on the board. Then reassemble.

When reassembling make sure the cam on the back is in the downward position against the body and spin the knob a few times to get some tension on the spring. This helps the knob spring back and keeps good ground contact to the spring. Also make sure you leave the single screw in the middle and the three on the back slightly loose or else the knob will not turn.

    Hope this helps, good luck!
