Two special elecs fully restored only for the purpose of holding up my umbrella

First up for observation is a 1978 Special elec “Pagoda”. This machine needed not only a new playfield, but a new backboard. Drilling 300 holes and cutting out all the feature pockets is a bit “oh” pain in the arse, but it did turn out nice. Original board had black mold and was peeling apart. This machine’s feature has doors that open along with the two side arms to increase jackpots.

Second up for observation is a 1978 Special elec “Hungry hungry monster”. This machine has a clock motor that raises the monsters arms to lift balls into his mouth that also opens and closes. Depending on where the balls go in his mouth different tulips open. This machine arrived with a broken ball tray and broken track below it. I replaced both, put in a new playfield along with the usual rock tumble nails, stained all the wood, new lights and electrical system etc. etc. I also decided to use my own hand painted spinners on this one to match the original pink ones.

Your killing me. I don't have a good way to take videos. Bonsaimaster asked me last week for the UFO. I tried and it looked awful. Since Carl W had one I gave up. Also you have seen the Pagoda. Since the monster is easy here is the video

This is why I LOVE this site we are fixing some great machines that alot of them bought in the 1970's have been let to rust and mold and worse on saving these two beautiful machines
