    Default PF T-bird micro switch

    Hey all,

Anyone sourced replacement micro switches for a powerflash T-bird center?

If so, part # and source would be great.

If I remember correctly, they are slightly smaller than a regular micro switch?

    Can you measure one please?

They are usually very reliable and will work if exercised a few hundred times...

    Thanks CarlW

Yes correct, quite a bit smaller than most others I've seen in machines. About 19mm x 9.5mm. Hard to find any info on the Mulon SL-4W1. Just concerned with the switch force needed on a replacement.

    Please research this one.

Not sure if it is an exact replacement but might be worth a try. OMRON SS-5GL-F
I'd try the lower force; if it is available.

2 on order now, Omron SS-5GL111-F, we'll see if they work.

Hope they work. Might have to trim the soldering lugs one way or another.
    I didn't research what the "111" indicates.
My memory is that those switches are wired normally open.

The "111" is the long hinge lever as the original is a bit longer than the standard lever, I'll need to trim it back and bend it to fit. The -F is the low force version.

And your memory is good, wired N.O.

Well switches as ordered above work well, for reference I also replaced the 3 larger ones in the back, 1 joker switch was flakey and the other dead. So I replaced all 3, Omron VX5-1A2.

    Complete restore including background.IMG_20150907_225250.jpg
