OKAY Guys! I have only been here for a short time, but I already know there are some really smart people here when it comes to pachislo machines. Where do you get reels and glass to modify a machine? Is there a place to buy this stuff or do you have to make it yourself? Do any of you guys modify machines? Hope I didn't open up another can of worms. Another OKIE!

the parts are custom made as far as the reel strips and graphics contact arbycoffee or dapperdan they are probably the 2 of the best customizers on the board

And yep several here do modify machines.

User DapperDan does a complete mod with reels, glass, etc.

Arbycoffee does them as well, not sure he does the reels though.

I've read several posts about him/them. Is he the one that the two of you once had another forum together? And sells on eBay under pachislousa or something like that?

Getting back to the point of this thread.....

Personally I am not in favor of modifing the machine from the orginal but I have seen a couple members who have done amazing transformations in theme. Considering what you might spend on the mods I would rather buy another machine.

My only thought retraction to this came after a late night ebay session. I couldn't believe what some of the Harley branded merchandise is going for. So I did consider buying cheap machines and putting on Harley Belly Glass. After I figured in back and forth shipping I realiazed it wouldn't be worth my time....
