    Default English translation anyone?

Just finishing up and I'd like to know what the Japanese characters on the center feature and beside the overflow tray say. Can anyone help?

Thanks Spyder138! I had never heard of a Hokoku until this popped up. The ad said it was for a "Chinese Gambling Machine". This one had been laying around for years in a guys garage/shop and had a fine layer of car exhaust on everything. The original playfield was pretty sun faded with moderate water staining. Thanks to CarlW for the authentic hopper he sent me. I just have to fabricate one missing dust cover and sort out the missing lock/cabinet latches.

Since you've posted now that it's a Hokoku machine, my guess as to what the calligraphy style character might be would be Hōkoku (豊国).

Also just wanted to post this for those who didn't know.

In google translate if you select japanese as the input language in the lower right area of the box there is a little pencil button. If you click that it should bring up a popup that looks like a notepad where you can actually draw the character and at the bottom brings up ones it thinks are similar. It is usually fairly close, though how you draw the character does change it sometimes. (meaning which line you start with and which direction you draw.)

Just wanted to make a note of that.

    100 machines and counting...
