I'll have a go on the one you mentioned thanks , mum always saying wish I could get this made but she ends up asking a friend of hers to make it as she does all that CAD stuff and I just feel bad I can't do anything other then take it off thingiverse then throw it on prusa printer plate then print it off..

Next week I'll sit down and have a go on that one and start of with something simple to get the hang of it then go from there

Thanks and thanks for showing the step my step bits much appreciated

Also when starting to draw a new part, think about its orientation in space and where the best flat surface is. On my part you can see the one side has an edge that is straight from top to bottom...that ends up being the surface that contacts the build plate.

If you were going to print a doll house table you wouldn't print it in its normal upright position...skinny legs with a flat surface on top. Since you can't print in mid air you would have to print the supports along with the legs from the build plate up to the table top. Lots of wasted plastic that takes time to print, and you end up throwing it away anyway. Instead you create / print it upside down. The table top is a nice big "base" that is on the build plate, and then the legs would be printed upward as spikes essentially. No supports to print, and print time and materials are a fraction of the upright version.

Good luck and if you need any more tips just ask!

I just ordered some PETG filiment for my printer. It just a begineers model. But used it for parts for the model railway. Made some mounting brackets for my Kyoto Keihan train head markers, Just printed off a new end cap for my projector screen, and the idler bracket for what I hope will be my ball lifter. Fusion 360 does drive me a bit nuts sometimes.

Curently designing some simple model bits of a ladder and aircon parts to go on a model building. Haven't done any really odd shapes.

I got frustrated trying to learn the fancy software a few years ago and gave up.. I should really try again with simpler software.. I was having fun printing stuff, but the software melted my brain!!

    Hi guys,

I just inherited a Sanyo Comet II machine from a friend and I want to restore it. This would be my first pachinko. There is a part missing that I was wondering if anyone had the plans for or could design for me. Highlighted in the image below.

    Thanks in advance!

It looks like something I could make on the 3d printer, but I don't have a comet II to copy the part from. I could give it a try freestyle, but would need a few measurements to get it in the ball park...then adjust from there.

This is close but would need some tweaking... if you want to provide some measurements I'll modify it

Thank you! I'll have to bust out my calipers and try to give some rough measurements later today.

With my Flsun delta printer all I have printed with is P.L.A. and use the Cura slicer program . I haven't printed anything for around 7 years .

Thanks again, here's what I measured as a rough estimate. There is a 2mm "lip" at the bottom that rests into that slot.

Well, it turns out we also have a 3D scanner.

So, here's the original and printed versions of the Seesaw cover:
    Attachment 92944
    Attachment 92945
    Attachment 92946

The material to make them translucent like this is Formlabs Clear Resin.

I'll post the STL file of the 3D scan when I get it from the printer.
Hey! I searched and couldnt find your STL, do you still have it?

Your drawing shows the hole above the dividing bar between the two upper holes, but that is not the correct position.... Can you measure how far to the left of that center divider, the center of the hole is?

I have the max height, can you get a maximum width measurement? Use a ruler or something on one side to be able to measure that distance?

Ended up teaching myself Tinkercad and went though 1 print before I got it right. Had a local friend with a 3D printer and some PLA filiment that he allowed me to use. Could use a tiny bit more tweaking maybe, but this is functional enough for now
