Im with Carl on this one. While it's not the most econimical I will happily support the smaller, and especially independent, hardware stores. As we move toward a society of big box stores and disposable everything, the small stores that have those little odd-ball peices of hardware us tinkerers need are becoming a dying a breed.

Totally agreed. I just said that if someone was looking to make say 10 or more of them. But one here or there I'd just buy from a small hardware store because they have the parts I need instantly.
