    Default First Machine!

Hey everyone! Brand new to the pachinko world, but i found a machine in my stepdads basement and saw there was a ton of info available, so I decided to do a resto on it. Plus it's cheaper than cars!20150704_123758.jpg20150704_123758.jpg

Howdy to the site that Never closes I grew up in Milwaukee 1957-1982 but then I joined the U.S. Army and wound up living in Monterey, California . Your machine looks in very nice condition and would love a photo posted here of the back and the workings ( We Looooooooooooooooove Photos here Of The Pachi's )

So quick background the machine was my step dads. He got it for $25 and my son loved it so I'm doing a full resto for my son to enjoy it fully working. Only thing im not doing is replacing the cell as it is formica and in great shape. Here it is now20150709_211627.jpg

Curious if you are taking the back apart as much as the front?

    Keep up the great work.

Welcome! How well did the playfield background stand up to removing all of the nails? Was there any chipping of the Formica (especially noticeable on the colored portions)?

So i only had one chip, and i have the piece and it is large enough that i am confident I can fix it. Also had 6 nails break flush with the cell that i had to found through and pull out the back.

Thats surprising. When I did a Sankyo I had like 20 teeny tiny chips and it was a pain in the . Couldn't glue them back so had to color match them with paint which was insanely hard to do.

    100 machines and counting...
