    Cool Utah pachinko

I have heard that a company opened the first pachinko parlor here in the US in Utah. I cannot find any evidence if it is in fact operational or how it is doing? Anyone have any insight about this????

There have been a few threads on this subject. I think the most recent one was about a month ago. It unfortunetly seems like the whole parlor thing was a non-starter.

Interesting concept, that would be really cool, however I wouldn't put too much stock in their claims. Looking at their stock price for CMKI it has dropped like a rock the past year, it's worth less than a penny and is basically worthless at this point: $.0014, there's no news on the stock since 2014; looks like they went under...

What a true bummer......I was hoping to get over that way and play some real pachinko in the US. Figures that they couldn't make it work. Thanks for the feedback, guess I gotta go to the land of the rising sun to get my fix.......

I went by the address they listed in a warehouse district when this came out in the news, but no pachinko parlor. I think it was an investment hook and book scheme.

I never saw anything that gave an actual address or name for where the parlor would be.

The only thing I saw was that they planed to open it at a development that had already opened on State Street which had a supermarket open the previous month.

The Asian supermarket that I saw that opened in August 2014 was at Chinatown Center.
