    Default Cranky Condor?

Hi, I'm a newbie here, so I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this. Please forgive me if I made a mistake.

I was driving my daughter to a friends house today and on the side on the road in front of a house was a Cranky Condor Slot Machine. I picked it up and came home with, plugged it in and everything seems to be working, but when putting in a token nothing happens and the token just drops out into the payout tray. I don't have the keys., but I was able to release the doors to get into the inside of the machine and it looks clean, lights are all lit and it plays music. With that said, what can I look for to possibly get the machine to work properly. Is there a way to manually get it to work to at least see the wheels spin and so forth. Is there a way to trouble shoot it? Also, is this an old machine and worth anything? I don't want to sell it, but would like it to work as I want to put it in my studio to be used. Thank you for any help with this.

Hi there! Here is a few pictures of the inside. Like I said, all the lights come on with music, but when you drop the coin in nothing happens and the coin just drop into the payout tray. Maybe it needs to be reset, but I don't have the keys. If it's possible to reset it, how do I go about it without keys? Thank you.

Sorry about that, mere are the pictures. It also came with about 50 or so of these coins in the picture below. Like I said, coins just drop out into the payout tray and not in the hopper or whatever it's called. Hopper does spin for about a second then stops after I power it on. I could post a video if needed? The machine can be cleaned up really well, but I don't want to spend the time on it, if I can't get it to work. Thank you for any help.

Does the "HE" mean, Hopper Empty? Makes senses! Does the machine need to be filled with tokens to operate? Could that be the reason why the tokens are just dropping into the payout tray? Probably not, but worth a mention. Is there a way to test the machine or get the wheels to spin without putting coins in? Sorry for all the questions. How would I perform a hard reset?

Ok, I was able to reset the machine and it's working now. The only issue is the first wheel won't stop with the stop button and is when turning it will turn then stop for a second and turn again. The other 2 wheels are stopping when I press the stop button. What can I do with the wheel that won't stop? Please look at the videos I've attached links to.

Ok, I was able to reset the machine and it's working, but one wheel won't stop. I tried to post 2 videos, but says a moderator needs to approve the post first. In the mean time, the first wheel won't stop when you press the stop button and spins then stops for a second, then spins again and will continue to do this over and over again. The 2 other wheels stop when I press the stop buttons and are working fine. It's just the first wheel giving me an issue. Everything else works. Anything I can do to fix the first wheel? Thank you..

Your reel sensor needs cleaned. Inside the reel is a sensor, a tab on the reel passes through it, as the reel is spinning. This is what tells the machine where the reel is.

You should be gentle cleaning sensors. Use some window cleaner on a Q-tip to clean it. It is a optical sensor and is a U-shaped.

Wayne-Ooo, would this also cause the stop button not to work on this reel because the sensor is dirty? I'll give it a shot now and post back in a few minutes. Thank you.!!

Why can't I post sometimes? It's saying moderator needs to approve. Wayne-Ooo, can you point out where these sensors are? I can't seem to see them or even know what they look like. Do I need to remove the reels? Also, how do I tell if the reels are in the right spot? I accidentally turned one, maybe two. Does that matter? Thanks again for all your help.

Doesn't matter if you move the reels.

You will likely have to remove the reel to get to the sensor.

Here a picture of what to look for. This may not be exactly like yours, but you will have an idea what to look for.

Oh no,..this looks like it's going to be pretty hard to remove. It's funny that it has to be the first reel, so all the reels need to be removed to get to the first one!!! I'll take my time and post back. Thank you again...

Wayne-Ooo, there are no sensors in these reels. What should I look for now? Here is a picture of the reel and front of the machine. Wish I had a manual on this machine, because everything is in Chinese.
