    to Pachitalk!

Looks like what you got there is either a 1973 or 1974 Maruhon (Castle). Looks to be complete and overall in decent shape.

Don't know what else your looking for. But feel free to ask us and we'll help you out.

    100 machines and counting...

Well I just sold a 1977 Big Opportunity Machine and was given this, in addition to, my commission for finding the sale. I think I definitely want to keep it and restore it for my personal use. I love the subject matter. I think I found a new hobby

I guess some general questons I have would be, how do I deterine what type of electrical schematics it has? I've heard terms like, "2 lights, 1 switch", etc. Also, can I find a compatible transformer at thift shops to butcher as long as the voltage, etc. is correct, or do I have to get something specific? Also, ive seen lots of restoration websites, but where is the best place to barter for old parts? Is there a "pachinko junkyard", so to speak? And last question, how do I go about making a plexiglass or glass panel to replace the front of the machine? Is there a simple, home-depotish way of doing it, or do I have to see a specialist?

Thank you! I can find very little about this company and only found one pachinko machine on pinterest that has nearly identical prize trays. Thank you

Even more generous than usual tonight, Mr. Al. Let me go in the backyard and squeeze my golden goose. If the goose won't lay, I can always try choking the chicken as a last resort.

Your machine is a 2 switch 3 light model. You can buy wallwarts (wall plugs) from thrift stores (best place to get them) just find one that is 9V DC; amps don't matter just don't get one that is like 18amps (hard to find one that high). Also make sure you check the voltage with a multimeter before hooking it up to your machine. (find them at harbor freight tools for like $3 or less sometimes) Parts are very few and far between. Though your machine is complete so you shouldn't need anything. Plexiglass you should be able to buy at Home depot and have them cut it to size (same with glass). Just measure the grooves in the frame, should be like 15 & 5/16" square or close to that. Oh and you want 1/8" thick material any other size won't work.

Also here is a link to the wiring diagram (bottom diagram is like your machine):

I'd recommend a minimum 500mA for the power supply, had a few below that and the lights dim when more than 1 light at the same time.

The best ones I have found were old laptop/test equipment brick chargers, 10V @1.5amps. works great for vintages, no light dimming
