A Mullet is a haircut for rednecks. It's long in the back but shorter on the top and the sides. I think it was invented when some neck with long hair was getting a buzzcut and the electricity went out halfway through.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

    Ah! Okay, now I understand.

Thanks Tulsa! Naw, I'll stick with my plain ol' short-all-over crew-cut. Used to go with flat top many years ago, but now I want it almost shaved!

OK, kids. Time for your math quiz! If RKnarr01 has 7 machines on 7 carts and they're full of tokens with a tray full of tokens on top of the machine and with 2 cats on top of the tray of tokens on top of the machines next to the gumball machine next to the tray of tokens, all heading from Wall Mart to NY at 55mph and Luckydog has 2 desks costing about 30.00 each shipped with 2 pachislos on each for at least 3 months and 2 utility carts for 19.95, each holding one machine, all heading to Fl. at 45mph which one falls apart first? Someone pass the Tylenol please, Extra Strength?

Its not the stand or the caseters I would worry about but rather the crappy particle board/pin system that is used on the top. The casters go in vertically to the sides. So there is no real problem with the vertical weight there. However you wouldn't need to add a lot of weight to force the particle board to crack where the bolts go into the top part from each side. I could just see one of my 30lb cats jumping on the top of my machine and the particle board cracking where the Pin goes in. Its not the dead weight of the machine its the shift weight of a cat or someone leaning on the machine (or heaven forbid the pull of a slot arm mod)

I might suggest buying some 1x2 - painting them black and then gluing them directly under the top board on both the left and right sides. This will take some of the strain off of the top of the particle board where these are likely to blow out. If you are ambitious you could also drive some dry wall screws through the sides into the 1x2. I would drill pilot holes first and counter sink. There is not a lot of sheer strength in a drywall screw but they are the right color and will stop the 1/2 from shifting.

I forgot to mention that on the two desks i screwed a piece of plywood under the top as well as 1 by 4 brace on the back.

Ive got some 1"X6" that Im gonna paint & put on from the back to sorta keep the shelf from going all the way thru & keep the sides from bowing outward.
And if I have to move them at all, I will move the machine seperately from the stand. I dont think it would handle the stress at all.

Aww c'mon that's an easy one! the answer is:
Jello, because it has no bones.
    Now wasn't that simple?

I was helping a buddy pick up some stuff at Ikea and came across the following table that appears to be just about perfect for a group of Pashilos. Its just came out in their new collection.

    http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/store...ts=10103*10144

    Width: 75 1/4 "
    Depth: 14 1/8 "
    Height: 28 7/8 "

It is designed to go across a bed but feels way sturdy.

i try to buy as cheap of stands as possible but that look good and work, i have 7 pachislos 2 pachinkos and 1 star wars pachinko on the way so if i bout 10 70 dollar stands thats 700 in stands alone instead i have spent 200 on 10 machines.

I bought 5 stands from Target for appx. $106 each shipped and then have 4 wall units for the Pachinkos for appx. $90 each shipped. Soooooo.... $890 to just hold the machines. Now, add in the price of 8 bar stools and token/drink tables. But, hey, IT'S WELL WORTH IT!

But at 75 1/4" wide you can put three machines on it with plenty of space in between or four machines close together.
    and a few others.

Nope. I was just playing the guy with the muscles helping a buddy move.

I am in the market for some new machines and thought that this was better than individual stands. What I liked about it was that it wasn't too deep.

i prefer the individual machine stands because your able to fit a single stand into tight places than something 3-4 time wide but thats just a personal preference.
