Default 1951 KUNIMORI with solenoid converted

Sometime I think I bite off more than I can chew. I’ve seen rust, termites, just about the worst condition you can get, but his is the first time I had to clean barnacles out the damn machine. Wood was so bad and rotted on the frame it was literally like basal wood.

So any way this machine was built in 1951 as a rapid fire. It was outlawed and to keep it in the parlors it was converted to a single shot. All they did was block the rapid fire track with a piece of metal and add the single fire chute.

What I think was unique was it used a solenoid to lift the ball up to a track. Yes this solenoid is 1951. I restored the rapid fire system back to its original state. I did not like the design as you one have to plug in the machine and two you activate the solenoid every time you fire a ball. This created lots of stress and movement on the machine. To alleviate this, I designed a pulley and spring system to replace the solenoid and provide a reliable rapid fire system.

Take note in the background my photos do not do it justice. I also still have five badges to nail back on.

Ok well back to my basement to pick out another one
