Default WTB Spider man 2 belly glass and screen

Hello Everyone, So I have another machine that i would love to get up and running. I have a spider man 2 it was recently a welcome to las vegas machine and the screen is shot on it. Also the original belly glass is gone so I need to look for those two parts. If anyone has any parts that you dont need please let me know. Thank you so much and I hope to talk to you soon.

I did take apart the screen and found these serial numbers on the screen. I hope this helps. IMG_5020.JPGIMG_5021.JPGIMG_5022.JPGIMG_5024.jpg

thank you!! that belly glass is perfect!

everything appears to be plugged in.... looking into it today the screen is there just covered with a vinyl. you can clearly hear spiderman playing. not sure if i want to take the vinyl off in case screen is not working. i've just started with this machine.... i don't have much experience. i have 3 older pachinko machines and bought a cranky condor skill slot about a month ago that wasn't working.... it was a loose wire!! what a steal!

the screen is lighting up but doesn't seem to be playing any images. do you have any knowledge with the screens at all and can give me some pointers?

I've gotten 2 or 3 machines that were the same as yours. Everyone of them, a ribbon cable was disconnected inside the case. I reconnected it and the screen worked.

    Here's what I did.

I unplugged all the connections to it and removed it from the cabinet. (I peeled the sticker off the screen). To gain access to the screen I had to remove the plastic housing,

(4 screws), once the plastic cover is off, you take out 8 screws, (2 on each side and top and bottom), holding the metal frame together. Now the frame will lift apart.

What I found was a ribbon cable unplugged.

**UPDATE** the belly glass has arrived and is awesome!!

unfortunately the LCD screen is still not working properly the screen is blue with black lines thru the screen which appear to change during a jackpot etc.

we picked up a "parts" machine turns out is Hard-boiled 2 the screen turns on and over heats. that machine also keeps getting a CP error code. I've been trying to do research on this error code and can not seem to find anything.

any thoughts? any help you could give would be greatly appreciated!

not really sure what these wires are for.... i think that they might be for some kind of counter they are all cut.

as for the medal selector we swapped out and tried both spiderman and hardboiled coin mech. machine and they both work properly on the spiderman machine. not sure whats going on with this one at all.

its a shame this is a very nice machine all lights working and when the screen turns on and boots up its nice to see how it should be working, at least until the screen fades out. as soon as you put a token through it goes into CP error. it takes one into the hopper and then the code comes on and rejects all other tokens. i reset the machine it goes right back into idle mode and runs through normally.

My guess is CP=Coin Path error and the cut wires were/are for a Coinless mod. Hope you get it working.

do you know if you can undo the coinless modification? i'm stumped. i have swapped out the units from a working machine into this one and so on.... all parts seem to work in the other machine. should these wires touch again? i don't want to short out the machine...

I'm sure you can undo a Coinless mod, if that's your issue, but my only experience with them are the plugin type.

The limited plugin type I've messed with have three connectors. There's no wire cutting involved but you need to specify the machine so the connections match.
    1. One connector emulates the coin mech. You unplug the coin mech cable (multi-wire) at the PC board and connect the mod to the PC board.
    2. Another cable (two wire) repurposes the Credit Return button to a Credit Add button. You unplug the Credit Return button from the PC board and connect the button cable to the mod. Now when you press the button it adds credits/tokens to the machine. Some add three at a time with each press and others max it out to 50.
    3. The third cable emulates the Hopper. Unplug the Hopper cable from the PC board and replace it with the mod cable.

I hope this info is useful to you. Good luck!
