Default Vintage Marudai New Prince value

Inherited a vintage Marudai New Prince but don't want it. Any ideas on its value, or a value range? There is surface rust on the chrome and on the back mechanicals, but it still works.

looks to be a nice machine...

in working condition 60 to 100..

lots of machines around these parts

if ya have a bunch of balls that will help its value..

are ya sure it works??? looks like it might be jamed a bit..

    and of course

Thanks for the welcome!! It's in ok condition and I should say it works more often than not. but the face of the machine is quite good. Thankfully I do have about 50 of the engraved balls. I have great memories of playing for hours as a kid and I'm sure I drove mom crazy with the rattle of the steel balls and the ringing of the bell!!
I'll post it on ebay or craigslist and see what pops up.
    Thanks for the info.

Not a bad looking machine at all. If I remember correctly the New Prince was one of the first machines to introduce the tulip to pachinko, created to commemorate the birth of the Crown Prince Naruhito. A very popular machine in its time. Historically interesting to collectors, but not really an effect on value though.

I can't remember...but I think I paid about $100 for mine.New Prince 003.jpg It is a tricky machine to keep functioning. However it is an unusual design. This makes it worth it to me! Lots of cast aluminum parts.NP damage report 004.jpg I love it because it is so different from the more common machines on the market! However...less common machines are harder to find parts for...therefore it is a double edged sword! As long as it it functional, and is complete...it is a great machine! It is not everyone's game...because it is a tricky mechanism that often needs tweaking. This don't make it bad...it just is what it is!
They are not RARE, but they are uncommon! Expect about $50 to $150...depending on condition and amount of balls. An unusual machine...that is why I love it!
