Default Multiple machines on surge protector

So my pachislo machine has a power switch inside on power supply. My pachinko just unplugs from wall. In looking into getting 4 more pachislo machines tonight from someone local for cheap.

Will it cause damage if I wire them into a single switch that powers them all at once like a light switch or even just a surge protector?

to turn machines on and off use a power strip with built in surge suppresser

I have all my machines on them and never had a problem even with all the lightning we get in Florida during storms

P.S. when you turn a machine off by its on/off switch your transformer is still getting juice and could overheat and cause a fire!!!

of course you could get something like this:

remote controllable from your computer, switch on and off individual outlets and monitor amps.

Or take it a step further and get a UPS.
This makes sure you get constant clean power to the devices connected to it.

These new machines are computers so i treat them as such.
