    Default Printing expiration stickers

I stated to print expiration stickers for the restorations that I do, to give the machines that authentic look. I didn't know if there is any interest in them, not sure if I should sell them on my web site or not.

If you print it, they will buy.

    Those look pretty decent.

Though for the playfield stickers themselves (not the tax stickers) are probably best printed on gloss vinyl. Also not quite sure how well the Avery labels will hold up over time.

    Thanks

I am using a color laser printer and covering them with a clear laminate, as for how durable they are I guess that would depend on where the machine is keep.

great idea, i think those stickers and especially the tax stickers are an important part of the history of the machine. i'd sell them but not sure how big the demand will be...

I would imagine demand would be similar to play field demand. Probably not going to light the world on fire, but if you are already going to the trouble of making them you might as well make them available on your website and maybe make a couple bucks in the process. I would be interested in purchasing when the originals were not of a high enough quality to put back on a machine.

I never thought they would be a barn burner, I just did them for myself as a little extra for the customer with a playing field replacment. I still not sure if I should sell as a set, each or include with a background sale?

I remove the original stickers and put them on the new playfields. Most the time they peel right off.

Yea I did that too, but having a new background with a old dirty sticker just didn't look right.

I'd definitely buy some! The stickers on my 73 nishijin recycler had water damage and were unsalvageable...

I know I'm a perfectionist. Having a bright, clean, and color-restored inspection sticker to put on after a playfield replacement is something I would be interested in. I think they would be great on model A Nishijins, there is so much bare playfield they really need the sticker there. And with a fresh playfield, a nice clean sticker would really complete it.

I called the print shop that prints my backgrounds and had them do a test print on vinyl of the stickers, they came out looking great but I would need to have them printed in a large numbers to get the cost down and as there is not a high demand for them, I will just do them mainly for myself, how ever I will be listing them for sale on the website for others who do playing field replacements and would like one to fill that empty void left by the old one.
