My second grandson is on his way :>

My older son Brian is picking up my second grandson Laird Michael in Sofia, Bulgaria.

he picked him up from the orphanage this morning and now has to spend a few days with paperwork and getting a passport for him

its a 2 week trip for my son and this is the second one he has had to make there for the adoption, its a good thing there are KFC's and McDonald's there

Laird is around 3 years old and like my other grandson Sterling he is not the height and weight he should be, they don't get much exercise or enough healthy food in Russian orphanages

they will be in Florida by the end of the week.

Well, the paperwork on the passport is done, health checkup went good, my son has a few things to take care of Friday, Saturday and sunday are free for them, Monday they get blood results and they will be on their way home Tuesday and arrive home in Orlando April 1st.

I included a picture of the hotel they are staying in, the hotel provided a crib and Brian had brought a small stroller with him, so, he can go for walks to kill time and do some sightseeing

a nearby KFC has been their main meal choice, Laird really likes mashed potatoes

It was a long trip home from Bulgaria for my son and grandson, when they arrived my daughter in law had to take Laird straight to the ER, he was dehydrated and weak.

doctor did an xray and EKG, said he had pink eye and should have a few more test in a few days.

he is 3 1/2 years old and 12 month clothes are too loose on him, he doesn't even crawl yet. I guess he was just left in a crib at the orphanage all his life'

my son and daughter in law have a long road ahead of them with him.

I included a picture of my other grandson Sterling with my Ex-wife.

I think I said it before when they adopted Sterling, your son and his wife are very special people to make that kind of commitment to those kids.
I know people have kids every day but that is going above and beyond.

Laird Michael was baptized on Easter Sunday in Orlando

Laird Michael has already gained a pound in a week and is really smiling a lot

his health seems good and they are taking him for testing next week to evaluate his abilities.

Sterling and the 2 dogs are all getting along good with him too
