    Default Question about fuses

Do most of the pachislos have fuses inside ? I noticed some have an external fuse or two and others don't. I recently changed transformer from a 4 amp to a 5 amp because the slot would occassionally kick off. Now I am wondering about the fuse because the new trans. doesn't have the little switch on it like the old one. Any help out there ? Thanks...................

I have had to open the power supply from time to time. Sometimes there is a fuse in there.

The better transformers have a thermal cutoff switch internally.
There are 2 types of cutoffs; 1 shot, and resetable.

If the transformer has a 1 shot cutoff, you basically throw it away if the cutoff is ever triggered. No vendor that I know of uses these (but it is cheaper from a manufacturing standpoint)

The ones that reset add about .50 - .75 to the transformer manufacturing price. Most of the ones that reset are automatic... When the transformer cools down, it will automatically start working again.

Only the place you purchased it from can answer if it has a cutoff, and wheter it is 1 shot or resetable.
