    Default Macross Frontier Machine

So now that I have a few Pachislo machines.. I figured I would look at a Pachinko machine.. the one that has my eye currently is Macross Frontier..
I have seen some gameplay footage and it looks pretty neat.. any owners want to chime in on playability.. Or any other information would be helpful..
I'm still hunting Nadesico, and SDF Macross machines... but neither are on the horizon currently.. so next best bet..

    Thanks,

    Rob

Now that I actually have the machine.. I need to attach feet to it somehow.. it pretty much just a frame.. Eventually I'd like to either build or purchase a cabinet..
    Any suggestions on feet?

A couple of 3/4 x 3" pieces of wood always see me fine. Painted black with a piece across the back to put a tray to catch balls and the transformer.

Not to knock Akimono.. but looking at this machine further and its definately not a looker.

The Frame I received is the frame from Fever SDF Macross.. The white is already pretty yellowed and does show some significant wear on it.
I was expecting the black and gold style frame that is listed on their website.. http://akimono.herokuapp.com/products/142

Once I get some feet on it I will post up some pictures.. to be honest I would not have bought this frame had I been able to see it first. The cell appears to be in good shape and I only powered it up after getting another pair of hands to stabilize it.

these all are used in palours and I'm sure some got more play then others,

I had a quick look around online and I saw Macross Frontier in 3 different colour frames, Black/gold, Red and White, I have to agree the Black and gold look best, I not sure if its down to the fact there a 4 versions of this game.

    CRフィーバーマクロスフロンティア
    -魂7 キラッ☆
    -お前達が俺の翼だ!
    -魂 キラッ☆
    -私たちの歌を聴けー!

But I have seen a few white V trigger frames that have yellowed badly, Maybe Sankyo used a poor grade plastic in them, or the prlours have gotten a lot more smokey

The yellowing is actually caused by the plastics exposure to UV rays... or aka the SUN.. this is a natural occurrence that happens over time when plastics are exposed for long periods of time.

so back on my topic.. to is the best idea for feet to just drill holes in the bottom of the frame and mount 2 planks for feet? Or should I use the existing holes in the sides of the machine and mount the feet that way?

The cool thing about the white frame is that it is has Macross markings on it... I guess I got lucky - mine's nice and white... and any scuffs just took a little windex to clean up.

Just for future reference, Frank will send photos of the machine you are actually buying upon request.

I finally got around to having some time to play with it today.. powered it up looks like it function tests ok.
Some images both front and back..

Started doing some cleaning on the front.. lower left corner... not that its not obvious. the shades of white will give that away.

I am gonna start another thread with noob questions about what different lights and things on the back mean.

Great machine, I have one too! Sorry, I have been MIA. I love mine! Built a custom case/frame and working on nerding it out with stickers and figures.
