    Default Thunderbirds Pachislo

I came across this one quite by accident..
Not my cup of tea.. but looks interesting.. what is the value of a Thunderbirds Machine..
Looks to be complete.. tokens, keys and instruction manual..

PachisloDB lists the name as Thunderbirds 3 and can be found here.. www.pachislodb.com/db-THUNDERBIRDS+3.html

I think the seller might be asking abit high.. but still new to this... so looking for fair market value

yes we have that one in our Research Centre here but sorry my links aren't working at the moment

It's quite a common model, made by Fuji around 2003 and here in the UK it is probably the one pachislo that there is an over abundance of,
even I have one and I'm more of a pachinko girl

Mine is in storage at the moment but from what i can remember it was a good game if you're into Thunderbirds and my son quite liked it

I'll let the USA based members advise on prices over there for you

Are you mainly into pachislo or pachinko? There are lots of anime themed pachislo and pachinko.
I have not lost my mind. I have it backed up on disk somewhere...

Currently I only have pachislo machines. However if the right pachinko comes along.. I'll have those as well.

I would recommend Speed Racer and Gundam One Year War. Both are excellent machines and both come on ebay and craigslist on a regular basis.

Don't no if this matters but here on Long Island a Thunderbird sold for $100 bucks owner was just done didn't want it. I looked at it but I'm not into if you want to call it the cartoon type features or kid type so I passed.

Hello I ave a Fuji Thunderbirds Pachislo machine and have two questions.
!) In the photo of my power supply what are the functions of the switches button and key?
    2) Is it possible to convert this machine so as to only require one token for each play?
    Thanks Martyn
PS unfortunately I was not able to upload my Jpeg???????

Hello Martyn and welcome to the group

Pictures need to be 2 meg or smaller in size here.

Is this the same as your power supply? This is what mine has in it.

Top to bottom items on this power supply are:

Key for performing a full or hard resetting of the machine.

Push button used to change the odds from 1-6.
(1 = hardest but larger winnings, 6 = easiest and more frequent but smaller winnings.)

Next two switches are mostly parlor use and pertain to if a soft reset (outer door key turned left) is needed and all the credits are paid out after a big win.

Two switches on the power supply:
    - One requires a soft reset at the end of a bonus.
    - The other pays out all tokens at the end of a bonus.

For these switches in most cases off is in the down or right position. The for off and on are:

    無 = off

    有 = on

Green light shows power is on or not.

    Fuse for power supply.

Power switch to this 24 volt supply box. Check for a transformer that is suitable to your local power grid between this box and your wall plug.

Oh yes, this is a three token only style machine. I have not heard of anyone trying to convert one to single token use. 400+ tokens would be a good supply to have on hand.

In order to overcome the inconvenience of have to continually stuff the machine with tokens is it possible to make it Free Play?
    Thanks Martyn

I feel your pain with the tokens but at least this machine will take in 53 tokens a lot quicker than those with the shorter coin acceptor tray on top of the machine. But yes you can run thru all those credits rather quickly. I know if my hand arthritis is bad I skip slot playing. But I'm more into pachinkos anyhow! Just my two tokens worth

You could look for or try one of these https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/l507305420

There are various types of coin free adapters that are brand and machine specific. I haven't seen one specific to the Thunderbirds machines and I don't know if this one would be a perfect match and work for you. Prices are all over the place and functions may vary between adapters. Prices look to be $15-$75 within Japan and add another $15-$30 in getting one stateside. Check out eBay sellers from time to time as you might find one there by chance.

edit: Sorry I forgot you are not in the US when I wrote this up. Pricing would still be increased from the original cost if you are exporting from Japan.
