A big bonus round usually consists of 30 games plus up to 3 regular bonus rounds. During 30 games you will be able to increase the overall payout of your big bonus with some skill and avoiding Jac-In.

Getting three replay symbols in a row is called Jac-In. If you want to avoid Jac-In you need to stop one of the other reels first. I usually go from right to left to avoid Jac-In but some machines will avoid Jac-In by stopping the reels in the following order: right, left, center. This will allow you to play more of the inital 30 games before heading to the RB round. Be careful not to get too low on the 30 game counter or you could bust out and not play all of your RB rounds.

On a typical Type-A machine (30 games with 3 RB rounds) you will win the following:

+15 Hitting the BB
+372 ((3*127) - (3*3)) 3 RB paying 127 each minus the 3 tokens cost to hit the RB
+ any payout for Jac-In (varies per machine)
+ any winning BB (30 game counter) sping
- 3*x any non winning BB games (including avoiding Jac-In).

Using this method you will be able to increase your Big Bonus winnings and this is how manufacturers are able state that it is a Max-711 machine. Max-711 means you can win up to 711 tokens during a bonus round. Winning 711 tokens is a perfect game, but you would be very lucky if this happens.

thanks for this information... how do you enter a regular bonus (RB?) round or big bonus (BB?) round? is there a chart online that explains what all the symbols mean? i think i know which ones i just need to confirm... so really the way to win big is entering bonus rounds to get up to 30 free spins?

Wayne, you seem to be very knowledgable in this area... can you tell me if i can make the machine accept real US quarters instead of tokens? It seems to dispense quarters from the hopper fine, but it wont register the quarters as credits, is there a way to fix this? would be so much appreciated, thanks

Can someone recommend a difficulty setting that most people use? I see difficulty 1-6, assuming 6 is the easiest, do most people keep theirs on 3? Thanks!

3 or 4 is the most popular setting, all of mine are set to 4.

is that a generous winning amount? it says in the manual that since gambling is illegal in japan, that its common for these machines to payout more than is put in, is that true? even on the 1 setting?

If we knew actually what machine you have, there isn't a machine called Max 711, we might be able to get you more info. Maybe even the different payout percentages.

I am having a similar problem with the credit button. I cannot change from credit to cash, Also it does not dispense tokens when I press the button. I have put in 50 tokens, play and add 3 more tokens. I get a payout but after that everything is credit. I checked the connections and all appear good. Any suggestions
