Default Have anybody ever come across these numbers on playing field

Have anybody ever come across these numbers on playing fields, they are stamp with green ink? I am thinking they are the playing field model numbers but I don’t find them on all machines or in the same place, I think most have just faded away.

I have noticed those before. I have yet to really look into it. I think I had one that was stamped 42 once. (Yes 42 )

If I was to take a guess it would be some code for how the holes were to get cut. But I could be totally wrong about that.

Or it could be a worker ID number so QC down the line could easily call someone if they see things turning out wrong.

    100 machines and counting...
