    Default Need a starting point

This is my machine. I bought it on eBay about 10 years ago and set it on a shelf in my game room. It doesn't work although it did for a while. I believe it to be a 1976(Google search). I know nothing else about it. Could someone tell me something more about it so I can dig into these forums and decide whether to fix it or make it someone else's problem? It doesn't light up at all and I don't see an obvious battery spot. Any and all comments will be appreciated

A better picture will help us better spot any problems if there are any.

And you are correct about having a 1976 model.

    100 machines and counting...

I'll get some better pictures this weekend. It looks like I came to the right place for some help. I am going to grab some playing balls as I don't believe I have enough. The ones that came with it were two different sizes. What is the correct size to get?

That is a very common question; it merits a sticky but here is a link...

Should all be the same size, by the way.

    11 mm

500 is a good starting point but your machine will hold 1000..

if your buying get a few extra for the next machine

    not a bad price

I just wanted to add that vintage machines work entirely on weight, balance, and gravity. This makes the size and weight of the ball somewhat critical. Anything other than genuine pachinko balls might cause the machine to jam or not operate as expected. You SHOULD, but not always, be able to identify the pachinko balls by the engraving on them. Get rid of the incorrect ones. They will cause you nothing but grief.

    a few things

first off looks like everything ya need is there.. not 100% sure.. its been a few years since i have seen that model..

    problems..

the second picture shows balls.. thouse balls should not be there.. your gona have to take some time and get them out.. might have to remove a few covers but they need to be removed..

the last picture.. the wire that is hooked on the lifter need to be unhooked.. it should be on the right side not the left side.. that wire is suposed to push the lifter o0ut of the way if the lower hopper is over full.. right now it is holding the lifter and not allowing the shooter to work correctly..

once ya get all the balls removed your should be at a great starting place..

its not exactly the same machine but the concepts are very similer.. take a look at this and see if it helps ya..
