    Smile Power Flash

This is a Nishijin Thunderbird Power Flash; that started as a Craig's List Forum thread.

Video of testing - after cleaning and soldering solenoid layer, cheat wire modifications.

    Smile Thunderbird LEDs

The Thunderbird model has two "somewhat" secret WIN pockets. They are red and near the Thunderbird wings.

The desired MOD is to illuminate the red areas but NOT interfere with pachinko ball or solenoid movements. I've tried a few different ways; it's still not perfect, sorry.

    Smile Cheat Button

Some pictures of the "cheat" button. When pressed, the tulips open just like a pachinko ball entering the top center WIN pocket.

Placed under the orange dome and normally hidden.

Beautiful machine Carl. On my wish list..

silly question but what is the orange dome for? One of my recent purchases has one but not sure of the purpose.

I like the location of the "cheat" switch. It is very accessible...and does not disrupt its original lines!
The "orange dome" is a number. So you can meet your friend at..."Aisle D, Machine 27".

so the dome has a number on it? I did not notice will need to dig it out to check it out. I was not sure what it was for, I had not seen one before until this machine.

    Thx!
