Default Two 1948 restores done. "The termites ate your pachinko"

I finally finished two 1948 restores. Apparently my job thinks I should work if I want to get paid...... and for them not on pachinkos. So the last bit of restore on these took a while to finish. When I received one of these I was a bit upset. It seemed like it what shipped with beach sand. I discovered it was worse. Termites had eaten most of the wood. The restore turned out to be a bit of work. The frame was literally like balsa wood.

Termites.jpgTermite 2.jpg MMMM termite eaten wood. Zoom in. Here is the frame prior to restore(no termites): door damage.jpg

This one did not have termites:

By the way these are Nishikawa machines

Ugh. I know about termites. I had a 75 Nishijin shark diver with them in it. Parted out the machine and just tossed all the wood components. Wasn't worth the save IMO.

    100 machines and counting...
