Default My new 99 cent machine part 2

I finally for the most part have finished my Maruto I purchased a while back for 99 cents on eBay. I still need to finish adjusting the nails and the lighting but my cell replacement is complete and everything now seems to be working well. I will eventually build a cabinet for it. I have plans to build a base cabinet for all my machines and then build cabinets for each machine I think. The back case is ugly as it was not original and somebody faced it with very ugly Formica but that won't matter once in it's cabinet. I am very happy with how the metal ball trays came out. The playfield cell that I purchased from Cardwwi I feel really fit the machine well. I did not want anything flashy as I just felt it would not look correct. As a whole I love it.

It is my 3rd cell replacement so really still learning but I really enjoy the process even though I am slow as molasses...

Don't know about anyone else. But on those aluminum trays I spray on a few coats of clear enamel to keep them shiny. That way they don't oxidize and make you have to polish them more frequently. Though it does dull the finish ever so slightly.

    Nice looking machine though.

Thanks everybody. I really love the machine. It has been a busy couple of weeks at work so have not been able to do much and need to do some nail adjusting. Just need to dedicate the time. I wish I had the stickers for it but majority were missing and the remainder were in bad shape. I will for now hold off on clearing the trays but if polishing becomes too frequent I will take up max's recommendation and clear them. It actually was pretty easy and quick to polish but the trays were off, with them on it might be a pain.

    Thanks again,
    Mike

I have been playing my machine for the past hour. I am on a longgggggg call for work that will last most of the night and so now that my piece of the work that requires me to be at the computer is over I have been busy playing and wanted to say I love the machine. I love the mini mouth. It is hard to get in the top once the sides are closed but but lots of fun trying. I also love how I can see the balls in the jackpot mech through the center feature and when there is a jackpot, even though I don't have my lights set up yet gets a flash of light coming through the back of the machine when the balls leave and the new ones come in. I was concerned that not a lot of tulips would take away from it, but no it is lots of fun. Happy with my dollar machine...

Great looking cell replacement, job and design! Fits the color and makes a usually always symmetrical game nicely asymmetrically balanced.
