I remember drinking it in Jäger Bombs back in the day at the bars, which is drop a shot jagermeister in a glass of Red Bull and guzzle it down.
I remember my heart would start racing from drinking that crap

What I meant was the lawsuit.

If the suit is really because of the "gives you wings" claim, then common sense has just dropped another 10 IQ points or there is a helluva lot of stupid people around.

If the suit is because the contents of red bull is dangerous/addictive/mutagen, then we have a phrase, "the buyer beware". Again, common sense tells you that if you drink something that will increase your mental activity, and it is not regulated by the FDA, then its suspicious. Either the claim or the mechanism of the effect. If its made of something you have difficulty pronouncing, even if it is natural, it would behoove you to research just what the hell it is, before you put it in your body.

Just because something is not illegal, doesn't mean it is safe. Following that line is intellectual laziness. "If the government doesn't say its bad, then its ok." Right, let the government think for you.

I find it amusing that so many people buy weed, ecstasy, and who know what other drugs from "some guy in the club" and don't give a second thought as if it is safe to take. Sure, you'll buy a joint from somebody you've never seen before, but red bull contains a carcinogen, that if you drank ten cans a day for 5 years, you might get cancer. Oh god, sue their ass!

Its the old, throw that guy copying video tapes for home use in jail, because prosecuting the Hong Kong mass producers of illegal DVDs would be too costly and difficult. A small-time pusher doesn't have enough money and is too difficult to catch, but red bull is a very visible brand that has to uphold a reputation.

Sorry, its hypocrisy like this that just pisses me off.
