Short Film Starring My Godzilla Pachinko And A Bunch Of Pachislos
A friend of mine was involved in Ypsilanti Michigan's 24 Film Shoot and asked if my Pachinko and Pachislo collection could be part of the short film. Sure!!!
If you aren't familiar with 24 Hour Film Shoots, you basically have to shoot a short film in 24 hours. Friday at 7pm you and your crew pick up packets featuring 3 elements that must be in your film (in this case: a hairdryer, a bridge over water, and the line "You have no idea what you're getting yourself into"). Then, you must shoot, edit, and turn in your film by 7pm the next day. Max runtime was set at 7 minutes. The crew I knew didn't win, but did get "Honorable Mention". Fun to see these machines lighting up the big screen!
The garage and backyard scenes are at my place, but when he goes in the house, that ain't my bathroom! Oh, the magic of film...
Newgin Godzilla is the star, but look for these Pachislos in cameos: Comet, Elvis, Azteca: The Legend Returns, Yajikita, Terminator 2000, Gamera High Grade, Tomb Raider, Beast Sapp, Las Vegas, Club Rodeo, Super Planet T, Fever Ghost, Onimusha 3, King Camel, Super Black Jack, plus a couple customs.
