Default Newb just got first machine, don't have a clue.

I admit I know nothing of these machines. Hopefully that's a fair start. Willing to learn. Today I became the owner of a Y&O model. I have no idea what I have or how to care for it. Looking for any advice or guidance. All I know is it seems to work and has balls. What I noticed is it may not be operating on all lights. I have a background in mechanics bit still a amateur electrician. Don't wven know the name of the game, it just repeats "357". LOL. Anyway help! image.jpg

Thank you, I was looking for a way to tell if all lights were operational. Not sure if there's a way to turn all lights on at once? By "357" I meant that it says it repeatedly on the screen.

Sounds like you haven't got the screen to turn over a cycle of the reels?
That would be why the digital screen is only showing '357' perhaps?

So if you drop a ball into the main pocket (under the screen) with the power on, do the reels spin (i.e. the digital display change?)
There is always another machine around the corner...

What you have there is a Cherry Blossom Legend machine,it has a very fun theme
i snagged one about two years ago and wrote about it here:

YO Model Pachinko Game Machine (Tyler Tx)

the "357" appears during the attract mode in order to entice one to play ( there is a video of it in the thread)

just like candyflip said, it requires getting a ball in the start pocket located directly below the screen and it should start spinning the digital reels like a slot machine and it should payout a few pachinko balls ( the payout balls are held in the top tray/hopper on rear of your machine) hope this helps get you started and "Welcome to PachiTalk!!!"

also, most of the lights remain unlit until you hit a jackpot, except for the upper right hopper empty light ( come on when your payout tray is low)
and there might be a light that comes on when you get a payout as well

Your all exactly right! So my son comes in after I constructed a ball bucket for the back. He just rapid fires for 2 min straight. Lights that I haven't seen before and music erupted! Pretty cool. Thank you all for your patience while I learn the ropes. There is one more question. Might be wrong thread for it but I have an error code on back shows a blinking "0" and a mild tone with it, like clicking. It translates to something written right next to it but I can't read Japanese. I could post a pic if this is the right forum for it?

Default Newb just got first machine, don't have a clue.

I need to pull it out to check, but generally a "0" (sometimes on other machines it's represented as a minus symbol ) means that everything is fine
When you have a number higher than "0" it indicates there is an error
so it sounds like it's working normally

As far as the tone, I'm not sure what it is, but these machines can be very noisy ( in the parlors, everything is so loud that you can't hear the inner workings)

Are you getting payout when the ball goes into any pockets?
