Default Found Pachinko Machine but do not know anything about it?

I found a Taiyo Arcus Pachinko machine at an auction and got it for $50. I checked all the loose wires and thought I had it working. Now for some reason the device that shoots the balls does not work. Also the wire that connects near the power switch is loose and every time I move the machine it resets.

Can an anyone help me with this item. I was going to resell it but now I am fascinated by it.

Default Shooter on Arcus works and than does not work?

I am new and I think I posted under wrong area. I have a Taiyo Arcus machine and it appears to work fine. Than all of the sudden the shooter stops working. I hear the click but nothing shooting. I touch all the wires and nothing. I walk away from it and come back later and it works? Any ideas?

    Hello

Don't worry about your other posts, I have merged them here for you

Taiyo is the manufacturer and 'Arcus' is I believe the name of the Frame the game is in, think there are about 13 different titles in that frame, so if you post a pic perhaps someone here will be able to identify it properly for you?

Are you making a proper contact with the grounding ring on the shooter knob handle? Some of my pachinkos require me to have more of my hand contacting the ring to get it to fire better, on other machines a light touch is sufficient.

I presume it to be a CR model (does it have 2 buttons on the front tray someplace?) if so then there is liable to be a 'dongle' on the back, they are usually on the right hand side and can look a bit like a printer plug thingy, if one is present, try jiggling it about or removing and reseating it, a lot of firing problems can be caused by the 'dongle' not seated snugly.

Make sure you are gripping the shooter knob with your whole hand as they need a ground to work, also if you have one, make sure your dongle isn't loose.

It does have the two buttons and I tried refitting the dongle to no avail.

it has worked with a one finger touch before. I tried with whole hand and that did not work either.

    here is a picture.

Tried both and no luck. I even checked all other connections related to the shooter and they are tight. I assume the dongle is the ribbon connector.

the dongle is a 25pin d connector, some have exposed contacts, others are in a little case, on most machines normally on a board on its own with a 1A fuse located near by.
