    Default Two Vintage Pachinko Machines

I found these two vintage Japanese games in a thrift store today, and I immediately fell in lone. Now PachiTalk, hold your gasps... I had never heard of pachinko before today.
As a lover of all things antique, vintage and restoration I knew that I had to take them home.

With the power of the internet I found out how pachinko was played and how the machines worked and the object of the game, and I have to say that I love them even more.
Sadly they did not come with any balls so I have some on order before I know if they will work. I also have plans to make a wall cabinet and have gotten some great ideas on here.

I do have a few questions:

Does anyone know a bit of information about these specific machines?
one is a Nishijin Shiroi Kamome, and the other is a Monako Okumura Yuki

    What are their relative worth?
I have seen them on ebay for around 150$

Were these made in Japan for Japan, or were they made for America/other countries?

    Where were they primarily played?

Thanks everyone so much for looking at my post! Here are the pics:

Made in Japan and used in pachinko parlors for gambling, then shipped here by the tens of thousands for home use in the 60's-70's.
    Worth maybe 50 at most.

    Hello!

Value is a common question asked by the newer members. Simply put it is whatever you are willing to pay for it. Sure the there are games listed for $150 even one at $1250 but what did they sell for and why. When trying to figure value with eBay do an advanced search for closed auctions to see that venue's value profile. I think you will be very surprised to see that less than 14 percent of the total number of games listed at any time sell and 99.9 percent of those sell for less than $75.00

Best suggestion I can make is enjoy the quirkiness of this hobby but as one member says, if you are looking to make a small fortune in pachinko start with a big fortune.

value it a hard thing to gauge.. what ever someone is willing to pay.. in Montana that's ever harder to answer...

would you be able to post pictures of the back sides of your machine.. with a good pic or two of each we can probably tell ya if there going to play with balls or not.. its amazing how many machines are out there with major parts missing..

your machines are a little on the?? (rare is not the right word cause prople think it means value) unusual - less common side of vintage machines..

    and of course
