So this is 'Road Construction', or 'Workman', a series that Sankyo started in 1990 with some old hanemonos...repeated it in 1995, then the last in 2003.

Hey guys, I'm new here and was looking for more information on a Pachinko machine (my first!) that I bought from an auction the other day. I think its the 1990's Hanemo Road Construction model. It looks exactly like the picture above. I don't know what it's worth or anything about it really, so anything is welcome. It also doesn't seem to payout at all, and also my friend somehow hit the jackpot (I think?) and now it rings continuously, even when its unplugged and plugged back in. Just new to all this and looking for advice.

    How many balls you got?

It is 'ringing' because its trying to pay them out, and you haven't got the back top tray full enough for it to do so.

Can you take photos, and do you know how to post them?
If so - take a shot of the top, middle and bottom of the BACK of your machine, and post them here.
And tell us how many balls you have, and where they are right now.
There is always another machine around the corner...

Geeze that was quicker than anticipated! Here are some pics: As for the balls ... Oh lordy the machine is full. I'd have to say at LEAST over 100, if not 200. It came with the original (I believe) Japanese balls, as almost all I've looked at have characters stamped in them. They are all currently loaded in the machine (except for a few on the floor) as when it plays the balls (and they don't go into the score zones) it drops out of a spot in the back (there's nothing to catch them). I will post some photos tomorrow- I had a bunch taken until I realized you said front middle etc of the BACK of the machine and not the front! LOL so I will do that ASAP tomorrow!

you will need a lot more balls than that at least 500 to a 1,000.

there should be a reset button in the back by the on/off switch, hold that in while turning it on.

I would say your only problem is not enough balls

you can put a tray or small box in the back to catch the lost balls!!
