do payout odds reset when power is turned off?

Hi, I have just got an Aruze Big Chance 777 and was wondering if the payouts have to be reset every time the machine is powered on?

if it goes into error mode when you turn it on you need to reset odds.

otherwise it should keep the same odds

I think Luckydog is right. My Popeye seems to hold the odds for days without power. Probably a backup battery in there somewhere.

I have several machines and as Luckyboy stated as long as the don't go into error mode I never have to reset the odds and all my machines are on a surge protector and sometimes not used for several days but when I start'um up there fine...

The odds do not change when you power down. Can't be a battery or a capacitor, because eventually you would lose the info. I think it is is burned into a chip.
