I have an Onimusha 3 machine with a clipped LCD ribbon cable

Hi, I recently bought a pachislo machine off of eBay that received the "Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas" treatment. I did a bunch of research and found out that it's an Onimusha 3 machine, and there should be a big flashy LCD screen under the Vegas decal! So I started taking it apart, following a guide that I found for a similar machine, and came across this:

The ribbon cable got snipped! It's also missing the end that plugs into the little card on the back of the LCD screen once you take the RF shielding off. I think I'm probably hosed here, but is there somewhere I can get the cable or even an entirely different LCD screen? It's kind of frustrating because the video/sound card seem to be perfectly intact, and the game just doesn't make any sense without the graphics.

see who the manufacture is on the LCD otherwise you can seperate the cable and solder wires to it if your careful, you just need a ribbon cable that is the same size

I actually looked into doing that already, but the problem is that the conductors on that ribbon cable are nearly microscopic and I don't have the equipment to solder them, even at my work where there's a bunch of engineering stuff around. I looked up the manufacturer and it's a Hitachi TX48D80VM1CAA, and after hours of research I can only find mentions of them on shady looking Chinese websites, and even those only sell to businesses in mass quantities and not to consumers. I even tried to just find a datasheet for it but that's behind a paywall on one of those shady Chinese websites. Oddly enough, one of the search results I got was from a PachiTalk thread in 2010 where someone was looking for one of these screens and nobody replied

I did find out that the connection from the machine's video card to the panel (not the cable that got clipped) is a 1 channel, 6 bit, 20-pin LVDS cable, but without knowing the pinouts I don't think I can just hook it up to a different LCD panel.

I could just put the machine back together and use it as is but now that I know it's true form I just can't let it go!

You could always just buy another lcd with cable already included?

If you can find a junk machine with the same outer casing that might have the same screen, I did search through the YJA auctions but didn't see any suitable monitors, But monitors are normally listed by the model whey were removed from. It is possible I missed one.

I finally managed to find a panel from a legitimate source! It was a really nice surprise after coming across a scammer (wanted me to pay with Western Union!) I got it installed and the machine runs great now! Thanks for the help and the quick replies.

Yeah, I got it from LCD Panel wholesale,Industrial LCD - BuyHiQ.com. The shipping is really expensive, but I got the machine pretty cheaply so I was okay with paying for it.
