Paining can have more options than you think. My Star Wars Cabinet is painted white, but I was able to keep the wood grain showing by not priming it. the grain shows through great, and has a nice sterile look to it.

    Awesome show...Watched it last night.

Did you know his nephew went on to be on Stargate SG1?

While on the Subject, If you don't want to make a cabinet, just cut a hole in the wall and duct tape the machine in place...That's how Red would do it.

Paint has more options. the laminate on my spin luck chipped on the corner, no easy fix on that, if it was paint a 10 minute fix. For pachinko cabinets I prefer hardwood with a nice stain. Too much laminate n a flat vertical surface gets to look , boxy, for lack of a better word..

I have stained even the wood frame that is on the pacxhinko with a light mahogany after a full sanding treatment down to 360 grit. I used a wax stain.
Kind of cool and easy to do.

Some of the base pachinko frames are nice looking wood, I stained one to match the feet and it looked fine.
I am thinking of making a 2 place (or 3 or 4) cabinet with a ball lifting system, and I am torn, keep it simple (na) or add Japanese style ornate cutouts and Dragons carved into the sides and tops, I guess I will know in 5 hrs if I win the compucarve it will be a no brainer! HA HA the Mrs thinks I am buying this for her cabinet!
    Shush, don't tell her.

Im looking for a source to purchase a cabinet for my Julie. Since Im no carpenter building my own is out of the question. Im looking for something with a large hopper on top to hold 2500+ balls and perhaps cut out on the bottom so I could slide a paint tray underneath to catch the balls. Anyone know where I can find one??
I had found one on E-Bay but after waiting almost 3 weeks for it and no word from the seller on to when it was going to ship I got a refund. Color is not a real issue. I can paint it whatever I want I just need a good case.

    Any help????

    Thanks much

Anyone use a torch to burn the frames grain bring out the patterns in the wood then varnish over? Would make a great look just wondering if anyone has done it and if they could post pics of the finished look.

On Heiwa all metal frame I use two 2x4x12 long and paint them a matching gray. Looks great

As to a CHooks looking for.
2500+ spheres are going to weight alot, and top heavy to boot.
The paint tray was designed in our forum, so I don't think any vendor has yet to run with it.
Sorry but what you want sounds like a build it yourself thing or get a
