Quick and easy to paint it, Rich. Laminate would be cool, though.

Looking at Slotter's matching cabinets, I say paint it.
Check my member page here or...

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum

Yup, paint it. Colorful, easy, and looks great. Goes with the Pachinko, too.

Laminating would definately be nice, but its like 45 per sheet and its harder than painting. I might paint it, probably a baby blueish color but im not sure.

I am planning on building a cabinet for my Thunderbirds once it gets here and I am thinking of matching the color of it instead of the laminate.

i think ive decided on just painting because laminating it can be difficult especially without the right tools, building the cabinet was a lot easier than i thought.

Paint now, if you dont like it, Laminate.
Unless you think it wiser to laminate first & then paint over that if you dont like it.
I like the uniformed, professional looking laminated surface myself.
In fact Id like to laminate myself!

You can never go wrong with a Black frame! Laminate or paint it black, it will bring out the blue and not make the blue a visual overload.

painting is great cause you can show off your artistic side or you can use polyshades .stain and poly-coat in one !

I say cover it completely with duct tape!
    1) Nice neutral grey color, goes with all machines.
    2) Extra duct tape where the balls fall in the back will help deaden the sound of falling balls.
    3) It will be the first one, noone else has ever done it.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.
