Default What year is this Pachinko. It looks common

Hi Pachi geniuses. Can some one help in identifying my craigslist pachinko. I am guessing 1951 to 1954. I do have the metal ring that goes on the play field a the bottom right. In preparation of installing it I noticed there is no upper window at the top right. That leads me to think 1954. Of course I am reeeally not an expert like you folk. So here is a couple picsfront.jpgback.jpgsticker.jpg

Also is this a pretty common one?

    Thanks!!!

    Wow. Interesting find there.

I mean I made a temporary catalog of Nishijin machines and I don't have one like yours in it. Granted a few of my dates may be off but if I was to guess I'd say you might either have a 1952-53 or a 1955 Nishijin.

When you get a chance would you mind taking some pictures of it in natural daylight for me and I will try to work it into my catalog.

Also can you add a picture of the center feature. It looks too interesting.

Most certainly. I have two others I think are a bit interesting that I waaaay over paid for off of yja. I'll send you a photo of one of those too. The guy I bought it from said it was late forties, but i think it is more like the fifties. They are the first "rapid fire" or not the single shot and were outlawed that year since they were considered to addictive for gambling is my guess. They have a little crank for getting the ball to the top. Here is a quick photo. But I'll send one tomorrow when the sun is out

That sticker on the center feature looks like it came off the shipping box.

Makes sense from the pic. Is that common to have a random sticker like that put on after it is shipped? Looks like bad English translation.

You brought a vintage machine from YJA and shipped it to the US?

Would love to have a 40s or 50s machine shipped. Seeing as my whole collection was brought that way, shouldn't be a problem. But no room at the moment.

I think the sticker was peeled off a box and put on after the game arrived. Pretty sure I've seen stickers like that on old boxes of Datsun parts <or some such> way back when - Engrish and all.
