    Default Cleaning Launcher Motor

    Hello everyone,

So I just bought my first machine (not even sure what it is), and everything works fine...except the launcher motor seems to stick. If you tap the back of the motor, the machine operates as it is supposed to. Otherwise, when you turn the launch handle, it just sits there. Again, if you turn it and tap the motor, voila, it runs perfectly.

Any ideas on how I can get the motor off? I tried, but it only comes about 1/4 inch off the chassis. There is obviously a connection between the motor and crank that I am not seeing or familiar with.

    Thanks!

じゃりン子チエ or Jarin-ko Chie is a comic strip and anime.

Some basic things to do before taking the motor off, These machine require a good ground contact when you hand is on the shooter, make sure you are touching the metal ring, normally located on the back or round the handle. Also check your 25 pin d plug dongle is fully inserted. Some have tried wiring the ground ring direct to the machine chassis and by passing the need to touch the right part of the handle.

As to how to remove it, I don't have this frame in my collection so I don't know. Sorry

Thanks a bunch for the fast reply and fast fix, Drunkenclam. I've never messed with these machines before, and while I'm not entirely sold yet on the fun of these at home, I'm willing to continue giving it a shot.

As long as my hand was on the ground piece and I wasn't tripping the little white switch, all worked well.

On the off chance, what is one of these machines actually worth?

The little button on the shooter knob? Yeah, that's to stop shooting yet retaining where your aiming.

Being in the UK, can't really advise on price. The best way to get hooked on these is find one in a theme you like. Then the more balls the better. My first machine was one a lot of people want/like but it didn't do it for me. Lucky for me, my next machine was Cutie Honey then I was hooked.
