Default What happened to the Super Don Pachinko???

Hello my fellow pachitalk members, I was just checking up on the super don pachinko posting in Georgia today and i found out that it has actually been taken off of Craigslist. Does anyone know what happened to it or was anyone able to contact the owner? There was no contact information and the seller would not keep the posting updated. So i was just curious, did anyone here snatch it up? I know I kept this posting on craigslist hush hush for quite some time with my usual searches on Craigslist, but so did everyone else i believe, it was never mentioned on here since the posting was first up two months ago... Anyways, does anyone have any clue as to what is going on with this pachinko. I don't have a pic since the post is gone and the link is now disabled.

I saw that listing and I tried to get a hold of the owner. No luck, no response. Funny, but it almost seemed to me like bait to tease someone desperate to get rare games (who has listings all over the place for buying 'rare games'). just a thought, maybe someone is pulling anothers leg or two here?

Oh... sorry super dave and many others here on pachitalk. Actually those are my postings for the rare games. I posted how i am looking for them and will buy them. But the posting of the original super bang pachinko in Atlanta and in Huston is not mine. I think it is a hoax as well, but i never even saw a number. Do you by any chance have that number, i'd like to see if it is a fake!

No need to be sorry, I think the CL posting was a ploy, a ruse, a joke. No name, no number, no nothing can only lead me to believe it ain't for real. My motto and MO is if there are no photos, no phone or name/number the time is better spent cleaning a play field or hunting down something more local. You would be surprised how many pachinkos are out there, of which rare or not are in great condition and waiting for you to find and rework. Good luck with your search whatever you are looking to get, gain or obtain. There is nothing wrong with hunting the 'unobtaniums' in the hobby. My motto, is never say never, and never give up. This motto has worked well for me, it may for you or not. Best wishes, and Good Will Hunting.

i doubt the add was fake??? why post it?? seems pointless.. the pics seem authentic.. probably another craigslist flake

there was an arrangeball machine for sale in the bay area a few years back.. we all sent mails but never got a reply.. a year later it was posted again on craigslist.. i sent a few emails and finaly got a reply claiming them mail was in her spam folder.. she said the machine was for sale and i could have it.. but when it came time to get an address to pick it up the mails ended again??? yes mopar, you do have a point. Like where would that pic come from if they didn't already have it, and people are just extremely flaky sometimes; especially here in vegas!

Well guys... The super don is back up, but this time it is in a new location in Georgia which is pretty suspicious. And guess what? No contact information again. I am getting so ticked off. For how bad i would like to purchase this machine, this is really killing me! Here is a link: Vintage Rare Pachinko Japanese Pinball Machine

About what?? that its listed for sale again?

i think it's a matter for the owner / seller as to where they sell, how they sell and to whom they sell

i just thought I'd add the Ad Listing for anyone interested in seeing it

Oh, i just though you would find it weird that the seller never puts up any contact info and keeps listing it to multiple areas within Georgia almost to entice people on purpose. Mopar, super dave, and i were all talking about this earlier. Just thought would would have had suspicions as well. Thanks for your post!

Well if there is something weird going on and the 'seller' is playing games to get you all talking about it

Then you are giving them what they want

unless you have proof it's a scam and can report it, I'm not sure what else you can do, apart from ignore it

Is the Ad worded exactly the same and same price?

Looks like a scam and walks like a scam and quacks like a scam and... flagged like a scam.

I clicked the "no contact info" link in the ad yesterday (as I'm sure many did), still no contact info. I don't quite understand...wouldn't a scammer want people to have a place to send the money to???

The scammer already knows his contact info but that's none of your business. What the scammer wanted is your email address - which you eagerly provided. Why?? Maybe just hope you don't find out.

i contacted this person a while back as i have a friend in the northwest corner of georgia who i was going to use to pick it up. i left a pm and got a response. it appears to me person has the machine but doesn't know if it worth $20 or $2000. after a few minutes talking to him i came to the conclusion that it was just not worth the effort. conversation went from "i wanna sell it" to "i was wondering what it is worth" to " don't try to rip me off". a craigslist clown.
