    Default Yamato Revival

I have made my first foray into the world of pachinkos: the Yamato Revival made by Sankyo in 2011. I picked it up from Akimono. I have had a few days to play with it and it is an incredible machine to play. The light effects, sound effects and animatronic effects are just awesome. Here are a few photos.

The ball noise is somewhat louder than I expected. Since my game room/office is adjacent to someone else's bedroom. I have had no complaints from my neighbor so far, but I do have to be judicious in when I play it.

I intend to put it into a cabinet at some point. I've read on some posts that the machine is screwed into the machine via the frame, which is usually wood. As you can see, the sides of this machine are metal. The top and bottom center portions are wood. How would one mount this machine into a cabinet?

I only have one pachinko that has a metal frame, 'Maharaja' and haven't got around to putting it in a cabinet yet

but to attach the feet to the bottom, which is metal, it had to be drilled by previous owner I believe
    .

Hopefully other members can offer some advice to you

and Congratulations on your first Pachinko!!

All of my machines are mounted in their cabinet/frame with 2x 8mm bolts top and bottom, the bolt goes in from the inside and locates into threaded furniture inserts in the frame/cabinet , I made a drill jig/template so all the holes in all the machines are in the same place so I can swap machines whenever I ever buy or sell them.

When fitting or removing a machine. I always remove the machine from the outer frame first as normally they just lift on/off the hinge pins. Makes it easier then struggling with all that weight.

Thank you very much for the information; especially the tip of taking the machine off the frame. I'll keep that in mind when the time comes to work on this.

Not to mention keeping metal chips away from the electronics!
